I really liked the work of this artist. She creates fabrics by dying and sewing together a variety of different fabrics. She uses both machine and hand stitch . In this detail above you can see the use of layering stitching and slashing. She make items of clothing such as the kimono, jackets and scarfs shown which her clients both wear and display on their walls.
She was wearing a hat, jacket and wrap made from her own textiles.
